Meet Jen Roberts

I’m Jen Roberts, a British Sailing Squad athlete, IQFOIL racer and passionate wing foiler, currently working towards qualification for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

I began my sailing career in youth racing before progressing to university, where I studied Events Management at Southampton Solent University. This gave me valuable experience balancing the demands of a dual career in both education and elite sport.

Since 2021, I have been a full-time athlete with British Sailing, dedicating myself to competing at the highest level of international racing.

My Sailing Journey

From my early days in youth racing to competing internationally, every stage of my journey has helped shape the athlete I am today.

EARLY DAYS

Youth Sailing

My sailing career began in youth racing, where I developed my passion for the sport and gained experience competing on the water.

The Road to LA 2028

The journey towards the Olympic Games is an exciting and demanding one, with international racing, training and constant development forming a major part of my life.

As an IQFOIL athlete competing internationally, my focus is on continuing to improve my racing performance and giving myself the best possible opportunity to qualify for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

With an international racing schedule taking me around the world, every competition brings new experiences and opportunities to learn.

Beyond IQFOIL

My Passion for Wing Foiling

While IQFOIL racing is a huge part of my life, I also have a real passion for wing foiling.

Away from the IQFOIL course, I love riding waves and making the most of the swell along the south coast with friends.

Winging is another way for me to enjoy being on the water, and it’s something I also love sharing with others through my coaching.

Whether it’s developing new techniques or simply making the most of the conditions, spending time on the water is what it’s all about.

Sharing My Experience

Alongside my training and international racing, I offer practical, hands-on IQFOIL and wing foiling coaching.

My approach focuses on demonstrations, personalised feedback and spending time on the water together, helping you develop your skills and improve your technique.

Supporting My Journey

I’m incredibly grateful to the sponsors and partners who support my journey towards LA 2028 and beyond.

Their support plays a vital role in helping me pursue my ambitions and continue competing internationally. If you’re interested in supporting my Olympic campaign, I’d love to hear from you.
